These pieces are inspired by ideas of paradise stemming from meditative visualization exercises. The artist works from imagination combined with vintage scientific illustrations as references. Painting by painting, the artist is creating an oasis full of lush foliage and colorful animal life. These works explore questions about the beauty of living things, the power of the mind, and the process of neurogenesis and healing.
